Dyeing for Teeswater...

A while back now, I decided that I was going to bite the bullet and order a gigantic order of raw Teeswater fleece from the UK... Keep in mind that shipping was well over $100... and then you have to figure out import taxes... and hope that they don't confiscate you package, since it was raw... Definitely not something I am sure I would do again, but it did work out in this case :)

So, what does one do with over 20 lbs. of raw Teeswater... wash and dye it of course!!!

This is just a small taste of dyeing some of the extra long locks... these things are between 10 and 15 inches in length... granted there are some smaller locks... but for the most part, they are extremely long...

Turquoise... this is for a custom order of 6 ounces... drying now :)

Red...

Separate locks to show their lengths :)

1 oz. bundle of the Turquoise...

Another show of the bundle

And the lock ends... just as a teaser :)

There is minimal vegetable matter in them... and they are amazing for lock spinning or tail spinning yarn... I just need more time in the day to get them washed and processed...

Enjoy their "yumminess" :)
